After years of wrangling to stock Maine storefronts with quality local goods, Heidi had an epiphany: why not open a place dedicated entirely to Maine-made and Maine-designed products? With over 40 years in retail and 25+ years in hospitality under her belt (yes, she’s worn many hats—and sold most of them), she decided to take matters into her own hands. The result? Branch Markets—a celebration of Maine creativity, craftsmanship, and good old-fashioned entrepreneurial spirit.
